About

Gregory Wilson is a student at Old Dominion University studying Cybersecurity. He is also a recipient of the CyberCorps Scholarship for Service award.

My Story

The story starts off in the foothills of East Tennessee when Gregory enlisted into the United States Navy to become a Chef on board a Submarine. After spending 6 years in the Navy, Gregory was honorably discharged and began a new adventure. For the next 20 years, he travelled around the United States from the far reaches of the Alaskan Bush to the shores of Nantucket, perfecting his culinary skill. In 2021 Gregory decided to leave the culinary industry and embark on a new career path by enrolling in O.D.U's Cybersecurity program. This decision to enroll into school would ultimately allow Gregory to continue to serve his country and provide a better life for his family.
