Cybersecurity Projects
DJI Mini War Flying Drone
The idea was originally conceived from a Hak5 YouTube video, but like many things on the internet, it worked for the creator, but not for the viewer. After writing the code from scratch, the code was able to be executed, but unable to upload the data via Google using Pandas and Wiggle. The ability to upload the data is currently under construction. Although this project was for an ethical hacking class, Gregory's passion grew for the RF spectrum.
Software Defined Radio/Ham Radio
One of my main interests within the Cybersecurity discipline is RF communications. Recently, I obtained my Ham radio license, which allows me to operate drones remotely, explore the RF spectrum in greater depth, and conduct research related to wireless technologies. These wireless technologies include, but are not limited to Bluetooth, WiFi, High Frequency communications, and Software Defined Radio design.
3D Printing with Ender S1 Pro
This is an ongoing project that has given me the opportunity to learn 3D design using a web based software called OnShape. My goal for this self learning initiative is to be able to design parts and components for my cybersecurity home lab & research projects.
Inkscape Design Work
I have completed various projects through the use of open source design software and I recently had the opportunity to take this skill to the next level. I enrolled in a course by logosbynick.com, which I would highly recommend for anyone interested graphic design. The poster to the left was completely designed in Inkscape, an opensource software for graphic design and was displayed at CyberCon 2023.
